Gadgets You Shouldn’t Leave at Home
When we leave our houses, we always bring a variety of items with us. However, there are still those moments when we wish we had brought that video camera or our tablet when things get boring. Here, I’ll give a couple of things that nobody should ever leave the house without if they want to avoid the worst circumstances.
Personally, I can think of countless times when I wished I had brought a real camera with me. One of these times was when I happened to stop by a car show containing various Ferraris. The best I was able to get was a picture with my wife’s slider phone because my iPhone was out of power. You really can’t go wrong with a designated camera, but if I had to, I would recommend any model made by Canon or Sony, as they tend to provide the best quality photos in every condition.
These might be turning into real computers rather than specialized devices, but they are still something I would recommend bringing on every journey. Whether you will be traveling by bus or airplane, a tablet is a necessity that no person should need to travel without. A tablet can ease the boredom one will feel on a trip while not being too much of a struggle to carry. I would strongly recommend the iPad Air by Apple, though for those who are not a fan of iOS, I would recommend one of the various Android tablets made by Samsung.
Noise Canceling Headphones
Once I bought myself a set of noise canceling headphones, I felt like they essentially completed my technology collection. These are something that you would never even notice you are living without until you try them. I used to buy earbuds from my local Best Buy, but they were nothing compared to the Audio Technicas I have now. These headphones are able to block out everything from the rest of the world essentially. I would very strongly recommend the Audio Technica ATH-M50X, as they are easily the best I’ve ever tried-and I’ve tried many.
This might come as a surprise to many, but I never leave the house without a prepaid mobile hotspot from Virgin Mobile. It’s impossible to judge where you might be stranded on a trip. Thus, in the case that I find myself stranded in a place with very little data coverage on T-Mobile, my service provider, I can always give Sprint a try through its prepaid Virgin Mobile services. The hotspot can be activated on the fly, meaning you do not have to spend a penny if it’s just sitting in your pocket.
There you have it; these are some of the things I never leave for a trip without. We have all had cases where we wish we had brought something or another with us. We were probably wishing for one of the four things listed above. With any luck, bringing these gadgets will make sure you won’t be feeling empty on a trip.
