Thank you for your interest in reading this “down to earth” guide to the underground, or alternative, lifestyles and trends, of the technology world, worthy of being written about. We see these products every day, looking down to check out who or what is on our screens, or up in the morning at our desk, face to face. These are our technologies, for personalized lifestyles. Technology, Arts & Entertainment, Home & Office. This technology is modern, mobile, functional, and following form, truly really good product design. PalmTM, for example, is the brand that named their products from literally using the palm of your hands.

Please note that the writer of this article works within the field, but is by no means an industry professional. She is however married to a sexy techy nerdy guy, and was on a Mac herself by the age of 10.

My PalmTM PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)
When I bought my Palm Centro from the store, they said “sure, you can buy something “different”. I assume they meant, different than a BlackBerry or an iPhone. I thought it suited my needs, minus all the other apps and junk. My doctor also has one, and I realized we both just need easy phone use, with a simple calandar functionality. That’s PalmTM, that’s it; that’s all it needs to do!

Likewise as efficient, is my Hewlett PackardTM “all in one” printer, is the heart of my home office; literally in the center of the room maybe 2×2″, this thing prints, scans, copies, and faxes with a phone line or to an eFax if you wanted or needed it to. The advertising campaigns for this brand show it’s divese audience, and celebrity use!

Now, for HP vs. Apples’ MacTM
for the best product reviews, of a PC and a laptop:

HP Touchsmart PC (product innovation: The Function Award)
HP Mini Mi laptop (product efficiency: The Efficiently Functioning Award)
iMac PC (branding, packaging: The Form Award,
and Good certificate for their computer recycling program.)
Apple PowerBook and MacAir laptop (for special use, at a price: The Formal Award)

Favorite Products & Services:
Apples’ iTunes, iPod, and iPhone, make it the best brand, in this book of brands!

Favorite Product: The “NetBook”
The HP Mini with miTM OS operating system. The HP Mini mi vs. MacAir is about $600 (Mini at $300 – Air at $900). The PC format, with a “mi” interface, is a special product like Apples. It does have smaller screen and strange mouse layout; but it is good for surfing the net, mobile messaging, text and images, and it comes with games, and its own set of apps. It even comes in designer styles! It’s good for family use, like a kitchen, bed, or home office computer.

Last, but not at all the least; GoogleTM:

Thanks to Google, again and again: you may search the world wide web, personalize your homepage, and find anyone on a map, email all of your contacts from multiple accounts, brand yourself online with your custom domains, and even advertise to your chosen markets. All of this from Google, for free! Here are just a few:

  1. Google Search www.google.com
    2. iGoogle and Google Maps
    3. Gmail Gmail.com
    4. Google Profiles google.com/profiles
    5. Google AdSense and Google products, and affiliates. You can even shop with Google, like you can with a CraigsList or an Amazon.
    Google also has News.

Please share your comments (and thanks) right here for Google and all. This review is from a series of reviews on products and services that cross the demographic gap; for adults, parents, and children, of all ages. This product or service is reviewed as a product or service that is “used by my own mother”

Whatever brand suits your needs, and or product that you want from life, your technology will fit your very own lifestyle. And with these helpful tips and reviews, you can use them at your next trip to the “tech shop”.
